When you first tap Start Playing, Android prompts you for two permissions:
- Display over other apps: Enables the floating cowboy 8-ball icon and aiming guidelines to draw over your game.
- Start recording / casting: Uses Android MediaProjection to read the screen buffer locally for geometry analysis. Tap "Start now" to activate the service.
From the Bloro 8 Home tab, tap either the 2-Bank or 3-Bank card before or during play. Our mathematical engine calculates two-cushion or three-cushion reflection paths with rail bounce angle adjustments so you can see where the ball will rebound.
You can stop the overlay service in two ways:
- Instant Dismiss: Press and hold the floating hero ball icon for 3 continuous seconds without moving your finger. The icon will disappear and the service terminates immediately.
- From the App: Return to Bloro 8 and tap the red Stop Playing button.
No. 100% of the image capture, table detection, and angle math happens on your phone's processor. No video stream, screenshot, or game data is ever sent to an external server. Only your support chat messages and attached screenshots (if you request help) are transmitted to customer support.
In the Bloro 8 app, navigate to Settings → Overlay. You can adjust Control Size (Small 36dp, Medium 46dp, Large 58dp) and Control Opacity (70%, 90%, 100%) to suit your viewing preference.
